When it comes to a visit to any Disney park or resort, food is a top priority. Luckily Disney provides tons of options across the parks, hotels and properties meaning you are never far from amazing food. So, below I am going to list the best restaurants and eateries across the Disneyland Parc in Disneyland Paris.
As I’ve stated before, in my 8 hours in a park posts, there are 4 main types of food outlets across Disney properties. This, however, does not include character or themed dining; therefore if this is a big marketing point of the eatery, I will state that in my review/comments.
The first type of food outlet is a kiosk. These places are dotted throughout every park in order for guests to grab a quick drink or snack. The great thing about kiosk outlets is that a lot of the snacks on offer are quite large, meaning they are filling and cheaper than a meal. However, the bad side of kiosks is the lack of seating, so they are not the best places if there’s bad weather.
The next outlet type is quick service restaurants. These are perfect for a quick, ok priced bite, but they haven’t got the most varied food choices unfortunately in DLP, compared to other Disney resorts.
Then there’s the buffet restaurants. These are normally the choices given to the guests on the half board dining plan. There is a lot of food variety in these outlets and a lot of seating, which is great for busy park days. Unfortunately, even though the food is extremely filling, I believe these restaurants are overpriced. Definitely make use of these places if on the dining plan but otherwise I’d say that there are better restaurants to spend your money at.
Lastly you have the table service restaurants. These can vary from casual dining to 5 star service. The food on offer at these restaurants can be fantastic but very expensive. I’d suggest going to a table service restaurant once during your visit as you will be blown away.
I will list my food outlet choices by location so that you can organise your days in the park more easily. I will also include the types of cuisine on offer, if there is a character dining or breakfast option and my opinion on the restaurant.

Main Street U.S.A.
Plaza Gardens Restaurant
Plaza Gardens is a buffet restaurant included in the dining plans. This restaurant is one of my boyfriend and my brothers' favourites when visiting DLP. The food is a mix between American and French cuisine, and can be good value for money when wanting to fill up for the whole day. There is a lot of seating, but make sure to reserve if going in lunch or dinner rush hours. If not on the dining plan this buffet costs on average €36 per adult, which is a tad overpriced in my opinion. Plaza Gardens is definitely in a great location and is beautiful but I’d suggest making this a go to only when on a dining plan.
The Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlour
This food outlet has delicious ice cream and is a go to of mine in the summer months. I also think the options are not too pricey which is perfect when wanting a sweet treat in the parks.
Cable Car Bake Shop
This shop, which also has seating, has amazing Disney themed sweet treats. I’d definitely suggest popping in here even just to grab a couple of edible souvenirs.
Walt’s - an American Restaurant
This table service restaurant has amazing food which comes with an expensive price tag. With an average main course price of €45, this is surely not a quick lunch option. The food is classic steak, fish and chicken courses with delicious twists. I’d suggest only visiting this restaurant for a special occasion; that being said, I’ve eaten here and it’s definitely the best food I’ve had across DLP property to date.
Discoveryland

Café Hyperion
This quick service is easily my favourite one in the park. One reason being they are usually open for breakfast which is rare in DLP. There is a vast amount of seating in this building and entertainment in the form of Disney/Star Wars cartoons, live music or the Jedi training show. The food is quite basic, such as burgers, but they do provide Star Wars themed food merchandise. This is also a great place for a sit down and a nice drink.
Fantasyland
Au Chalet de la Marionette
This, in my opinion, is the best quick service in Fantasyland. In this area of the park you have the most choice when it comes to food options but believe me, there’s much better places in other areas. I love the design and theming of this quick service and the food has never disappointed. With an average meal costing €15, including side, dessert and drink, you can’t really go wrong. Serving bratwurst, chicken and more, it’s tasty and quick food for all the family.
The Old Mill
If you fancy a sweet treat whilst in fantasyland definitely head to the Old Mill. This kiosk serves waffles which are delicious yet a little bit expenny. They are perfect for breakfast if you want to get as much done in the morning as you can.
Auberge de Cendrillion
If you want a character dining experience, within the parks, this is definitely the place to go. Head there for breakfast to meet Mickey and friends, or dinner to meet a selection of princesses. The food is based on classic french cuisine and is on the more expensive side as it costs €77 for the set 3 course menu. The reason the price is worth it is to meet the characters. I loved character dining as a kid and recommend it to any parent, it’s an experience you’ll never forget! Just make sure to reserve a table as this restaurant books up quickly.

Adventureland
Captain Jack’s Restaurant des Pirates
This is a beautifully themed table service restaurant based within the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Watch the boats of the ride glide past as you eat a delicious meal amongst the plant life of the jungle. The average main course dish is around €36, and the menu mainly consists of fish and Caribbean influenced cuisine. I’ve never eaten here personally but it’s on my bucket list!
Restaurant Hakuna Matata
This quick service is great for a quick bite if you fancy something different to a burger. Serving African inspired cuisine and healthier options, it’s a great outlet for all guests. There’s a lot of seating and each meal includes a side, dessert and drink; coming in at around €15 per meal, I think it is great value.
Frontierland
Cowboy Cookout Barbecue
This quick service is very popular with returning guests. The menu consists of BBQ ribs, burgers and chicken, each coming in as a meal at around €15. Just like other quick services, the meals include a side, dessert and drink.
Silver Spur Steakhouse
If you fancy a table service restaurant which has great service but is a little on the cheaper side, then this is the place for you. Serving classic steak, chicken and fish dishes at around €30, you can’t go wrong here. The wild west theming is great and adds to the fantastic ambience of the place.

And that’s about it! Those are my top choices when it comes to eating in Disneyland Parc. Hopefully there’s enough information for you to plan your stay a bit better. I’d also suggest mixing up your dining choices, if not on a dining plan, and including all types of food outlet so you can decide your favourite. Have a magical time!
