Disney Village is the perfect place for an evening or a little break from the parks. With tons of things to keep you busy it’s a great escape for a quiet or raucous night, whichever takes your fancy. The village also is home to many shops which hold some fantastic merchandise that you may not be able to find within the parks. Below I will suggest some top spots to try, when you visit, which I hope you’ll enjoy and find helpful.

Dining and Drinking
There is a great variety of restaurants throughout Disney Village which significantly differ in price. Below I will tell you my favourite places to eat around the village and give you a clue on what you can expect from food to atmosphere to price.
Earl of Sandwich - This is a quick service restaurant which serves many types of hot sandwich. This is my top quick service in Disney Village because you get much higher quality food than if you pop to McDonalds or another similar fast food chain. The food is very tasty and there are several options for different dietary requirements and picky eaters.
Planet Hollywood - I will always choose Planet Hollywood if it’s date night in Disney Village. The food is classic American cuisine but it’s the ambience that is special. The walls are covered in TV and film costumes, props and memorabilia, so it’s the perfect place for movie fans like me. Customers can also watch a continuous loop of music videos being shown on TV’s which create an extremely lively atmosphere. While waiting for your table treat yourself to a fabulous cocktail, named after a popular film, and engross yourself in some of the amazing displays. I love the vibe in Planet Hollywood but do know that it is extremely loud in this restaurant so don’t go here looking for a peaceful meal.

Rainforest Cafe - Enter a tropical jungle and experience some yummy food whilst being surrounded by wildlife animatronics. This table service is the perfect place for families and groups visiting the village for a tasty American style meal. The food has never disappointed me and everyone I’ve taken here has enjoyed themselves, plus the food is great for both picky and adventurous eaters. Also there is a beautiful aquarium surrounding the dining area, which is definitely worth a stop by to see.
La Grange at Billy Bob’s Country Western Saloon - This is a buffet style, all you can eat Tex-mex restaurant. It’s the go to place, in Disney Village, if you are on the dining plan and honestly the food is really tasty. Most of the buffet places within the parks offer similar food choices but this one has more interesting options. Situated on top of the saloon you can enjoy the music from the bar below whilst feasting on some delights, a great place for hungry groups.

If you fancy just a quick snack there are many quick services and kiosks perfect for this. If you have a sweet tooth then I’d definitely suggest trying the chocolate covered strawberries and waffles from the carts dotted around the village. A lot of the village restaurants become extremely busy from around 5pm so I’d recommend making a reservation ahead of time, or you could easily be facing an hour long wait for a table.
Another option in Disney Village is to have a few cocktails with the girls or maybe a cheeky date night. There’s a couple of places where you can enjoy an alcoholic beverage, obviously only if you’re over 18, and I’ll suggest my favourites below.

Billy Bob’s Country Western Saloon - This is the perfect place if you want to enjoy some amazing live music whilst having a drink. Whilst the drinks menu isn’t too adventurous you’ll definitely have a great night if you stay here.
Planet Hollywood - Yes it’s a fab restaurant but there is a small bar area which serves some great cocktails if that kind of thing takes your fancy. If you don’t want to eat here but fancy a lively atmosphere and a cocktail then this is the place to go, just don’t expect to be able to find a seat easily!
Sports Bar - If you’re looking to have a quick easy bite while you’re out drinking then this is the place to go. A great place for big groups, you can enjoy the sport on the TV’s or just chill and chat. This bar can get quite busy depending on what sport event is on so check the date before heading here.
Shopping
Disney Village is the perfect place to go on a Disney shopping spree and there are shops to cater to all kinds of Disney fans. I’ll list the shops below that are worth a visit, even if it’s just to walk around. I have always loved walking around the shops on an evening and I honestly believe it’s a truly enjoyable activity for adult Disney fans like me.

World of Disney - This is the main Disney store on Disneyland Paris property and is the go to spot for DLP merchandise. I always have an in depth look around this store as you will most likely find the majority of the merch you have had your eye on from the parks. Just like the rest of the village, this store gets extremely busy in the evenings so a day trip might be perfect if you want to buy something here.
The LEGO Store - The Lego Store is the perfect place for kids as there is a building section to keep them busy. There’s also an expansive collection of Disney Lego sets for you to choose from. Also there are stunning Lego displays in the windows which are fantastic and I always have to grab a couple photos of them.
Disney Fashion - Disney clothing and accessories are an important part of any Disney lovers wardrobe, which is a big reason why I love this store. If you like adding a little Disney flair to your daily look or if you’re a Disney bounder, then this store is a must do. This building also includes Disney Fashion Junior which holds all the Disney apparel a child could want.
The Disney Gallery - This shop is, without a doubt, my absolute favourite within Disney Village. This store holds some amazing pieces of Disney art and collectibles that are available to purchase. I have to admit most of the products are very expensive but I just love walking round and seeing all the stunning pieces. I think this is a great place to visit, especially if you are looking for things to do on a date.
Disney Store - This shop holds a lot of Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar goods, so a great destination for fans of these franchises. This is the store where I finally found my Baby Groot plush, so if you’re looking for a specific piece of merch this is a good store to go to.
Activities
There are some fabulous activities that you can take part in when visiting Disney Village. If you are visiting at certain times of year there could be a celebration at the village, where there might be special parties, music celebrations or markets for you to participate in. Some of my favourite times at Disney Village have been down to the celebrations being thrown at the time. I’m going to suggest some activities and entertainment, within the village, that you can enjoy on your visit.
PanoraMagique - This is a 6 minute long helium balloon ride high up in the sky to see a stunning 360 view of Disneyland Paris. For an additional cost, up to 30 guests can hop aboard and look over all of DLP; this however can be a popular activity in the summer but personally not for me as I’m not a fan of heights.
Gaumont Cinema - If you are looking to see a movie whilst at DLP then the cinema is the perfect place to go. With showings of new releases in both French and English, this cinema is a popular destination in the evenings for families and couples alike.
Seasonal Offerings - One of my favourite things about Disney Village is the Christmas market that is erected around November each year. I love the authenticity of this market and it’s definitely worth going to if you’re visiting at this time of year.

And that’s a collection of my favourite things to do in Disney Village. Obviously the village is nowhere near as big as Disney Springs in Walt Disney World, but you can have a lovely time in this area of DLP. I believe that the village is perfect for any kind of party visiting Disneyland Paris and I really hope that you enjoy the Disney Village as much as I do. Have a magical time!
