As we all know Walt Disney World is a big ol’ place with a lot to do, and most importantly a lot to eat! Choosing the right places to go can be a tad difficult and I for one have definitely chosen the wrong places many times. On my last trip I tried loads of new food outlets and options in order to find my WDW food and drink faves. And so here we are; below I’m going to list my favourite food outlets/foods and drinks from across the Walt Disney World resort. Hopefully this post will be helpful for your trip, not your waistline, and will get you craving those Disney snacks!

I’m going to list my favourites in location order, just to make it easier for us all! We’ll go through the parks one by one and Disney springs; then you’ll know my favourites and maybe some of them will become yours!

Animal Kingdom

Satu’li Canteen

This quick service restaurant is absolutely a favourite of mine. Based in Pandora - The World of Avatar, this outlet lets you build a bowl of meats (veggie options available), grains/carbs and a sauce all for under $15. This is where you can also get cheeseburger pods, my favourite dish! As it’s a quick service, the food is normally average but it certainly isn’t here. This place has perfect tasty food for everyone, and bonus it’s healthy too! Also the interior design is stunning, with handwoven decorations covering the ceiling.

Rainforest Cafe

This is a classic tourist restaurant, but it has always been one of my family's favourites. Serving mainly classic American and Italian dishes, this place is perfect for families with picky eaters as there really is something for everyone. The food is good here but the reason for paying the Rainforest Cafe a visit is definitely for the surroundings. With animatronic animals, real fish and beautiful plants it really is a feast for the senses!

Hollywood Studios

50’s Prime Time Cafe

I love this unique dining experience. Based in a 1950’s kitchen, mom and all your cousins are there to serve you a classic American comfort food dinner; just be careful to mind your manners! The servers will playfully treat you and your guests as their own family and give you punishments for putting your elbows on the table or not finishing your veggies. It’s a really fun experience for all the family and bonus, the food is delicious!

Hollywood and Vine

Hollywood and Vine is a character buffet dining experience. Hosted by Donald and friends, you get to meet all your favourite classic characters whilst eating some yummy buffet food. The food on offer is classic American buffet style food and is perfectly filling. You can also book this restaurant as part of the Fantasmic package, meaning you get a guaranteed spot to watch the show.

Ronto Roaster’s

This is definitely a new Disney fan favourite since Galaxy’s Edge opened up. Selling a breakfast and daytime version of the Ronto wrap means you can visit this quick service multiple times throughout the day and your visit. I for one can’t wait to go and get one of these as I’ve heard so many amazing things.

Epcot

Garden Grill Restaurant

A character family dining experience that is constantly rotating around just sounds like fun, doesn’t it?! This slowly spinning restaurant within The Land, was a favourite of mine growing up. I loved meeting the characters and the food was always delicious, definitely one to take young kids.

Joy of Tea

A small counter service in the China pavilion, it doesn’t look like much but the drinks are amazing. The lychee bubble tea is so refreshing and the spring rolls are to die for. This place is perfect for a quick pit stop.

Katsura Grill

This is my favourite place to eat in Walt Disney World! I love Japanese food and went here multiple times on my last visit. I love the Katsu curry and frozen green tea! The food is extremely flavourful and delicious and really inexpensive for the quality. I can’t wait to go here again and experience more of the Japanese pavilion food offerings.

San Angel Inn Restaurante

This restaurant, in the Mexico pavilion, had always been on my family’s bucket list when we were younger and on our last visit we finally went and were blown away. Serving Mexican cuisine in perpetual twilight, the perfect setting for a romantic dinner. The food is fantastic and you get to watch the Grand Fiesta Tour floating along, what a perfect place.

Magic Kingdom

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe

This quick service is a clear favourite of mine. Serving mexican inspired food in Frontierland, you can load up for the day with your choice of main and an all you can eat fixings bar! The food is inexpensive and a great pick for a tasty but filling bite.

Liberty Tree Tavern

This restaurant has always been my Dad’s favourite in WDW. Serving an all you care to eat, family style, thanksgiving roast. The food is always exceptional, just like the service, and is perfect for a big family lunch. Also if you time it right, you can watch the parade go past whilst enjoying your tasty meal!

Disney Springs

Earl of Sandwich

This little sandwich shop has got one of my favourite foods of all time, the holiday sandwich. Selling fresh sandwiches and soups throughout the day, it’s great for a quick bite and is always a tasty little treat for all.

ree

Ghirardelli

Honestly one of the best sundaes I’ve ever had! This ice cream parlour and chocolate shop sells decadent desserts and is a must try for your dessert needs. There might be a queue but it’s there for a reason, now go treat yourself!

The BOATHOUSE

This waterfront restaurant is beautiful outside and in. The food is always yummy and the menu caters well to seafood and non seafood lovers alike. However, if you do love seafood then I’d definitely suggest at least one visit to this stunning restaurant.

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’

A family favourite in Disney Springs, serving American comfort food sourced locally. The food is great for international visitors and the fried chicken is to die for. A great little spot for family dining.

Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza

This build your own pizza bar has the best pizza I’ve ever had. The food is inexpensive and delicious! Perfect for picky eaters and hungry customers, pick the perfect pizza for you, and watch the springs as you eat your creation.

Snacks

This is just where I’m going to list my favourite WDW snacks and drinks, feel free to give them a try! If they are only sold at a specific place I will write it next to the item, so have a read and I really hope you love them like I do!

ree

Funnel Cake

I love funnel cake, deep fried cinnamon flavoured batter is just perfect in my opinion. The best one I’ve enjoyed was at the Funnel stand in the American Pavilion at Epcot. They also sell seasonal savoury and sweet options if you’re feeling adventurous.

LeFou’s Brew

This delicious drink made from frozen apple juice and marshmallow syrup, topped with passion fruit and mango foam is amazing! Perfect for a hot Florida day, it is only served at Gaston’s Tavern but is a must try!

ree

Corn Dog

This classic American treat is delicious and I still crave it whilst sat here in gloomy London. A simple hot dog wrapped in corn bread and deep fried is a tasty little treat and can be found at loads of carts around Magic Kingdom.

Mickey Pretzel

Who doesn’t love a Mickey shaped food?! Mickey pretzels are sold all over WDW, normally with beer cheese sauce on the side, and are one of my favourite snacks. Perfect for a light lunch and so tasty.

Popcorn

I love popcorn but Disney popcorn is on another level. I also love the souvenir popcorn buckets on sale across different seasons and may have a little collection myself. Popcorn is always a Main Street snack for me and you’ll find it sold across all parks.

And that’s it! My favourite food and drinks in WDW. I hope this has inspired you for your next visit, and I can’t wait to be able to eat at all these places hopefully soon. Now go eat too much and have a magical time!
